I have 3 old USB drives that have archived backup data on them that was apparently archived using ArcServe r15. ArcServe was completely removed from the environment years ago before I started working here. Now I have a user that brought me the USB drive with the CTF files on it and wants to see if there is some Windows data on the drive.

I do have a copy of ArcServe r15 that I just installed to a Windows 2008 VM that I whipped up for just a purpose. However, I cannot seem to mount the drive so that ArcServe can read the contents. I tired to go into Manager>Device>and create a new drive in there but it keeps saying that the USB drive (letter I:) is an invalid location.

I just installed ArcServe so there is no inital configuration for the drives and I need to know how to set that up please. Is there anyone out there with some ArcServe experince that could assist me with this?
