We have recently returned from and used our own Tom Tom with SA maps and they are very accurate and easy to follow. One of our travelling party had preprogrammed favourites (eg our hotel in Jburg etc) into the Tom Tom before we left home and all we had to do was find the approriate favourite. We had a hire car from with a detour to and then on to Jburg and found our way without getting lost at all - or if we missed a turn it told us how to find the next turn etc. We accidently put in that we wanted to miss the tolls on the road from to and it took us through suburban and then onto the freeway after the toll. This turned out to be a very scenic drive out of instead of on the boring freeway. Have a wonderful trip we loved.
