E-sword Windows 7

I can't get my e-sword program to open anymore since updating to windows 7.we had windows 2003 but it crashed and we had to upgrade. Since installing 7 when I try to open e-sword the following pop-up is displayed 'window cannot open this file with the extension of..lstx or.ovlx, or.notx or.topx'. I did download programs to fix this but none have helped. We are baby boomers and did not grow up using computers so are not very fluent in computereze.

If updating an existing e-Sword installation then make sure it is not already open when you run the setup. Windows XP SP3, Vista or Windows 7/8/10. Roland Vsc 3.2 there.
